Scott Paulus is a Milwaukee based photographer, and former member of the Marine Corps. While serving in the military, Paulus realized that his interests were in the arts. His passion led him to study at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design where he received a Bachelor's degree in Fine Art. Throughout his time at MIAD, Paulus stayed connected with the local area and continued after graduating, to work full time for the Milwaukee Brewers.

As well as the Brewers, Paulus works closely with the Milwaukee Admirals, and minor league hockey teams from around the area. Paulus's ability to work so closely in his own community and also take high quality photos is something I admire. Viewing his work, I can really get a sense of how much he loves what he is doing. Loving what you do is something we all long for and Paulus' love shows through in the quality of the images which he produces.

His skill using high contrast imagery makes his figures stand out. The photos are more intimate and interesting, drawing the viewer in and leaving them with an experience they will never forget.
